Product Information
Australian Milk & Cream Bottles and Dairy Related Items - a comprehensive guide for Collectors & the Curious.  Richard S Kameny, author.

In Australia by 1970 retail raw milk sales became illegal under the Pasteurisation Act.  Dozens of different containers, both before and after that date, were used for the delivery of dairy products. Clear vessels, Pyro vessels, cardboard, plastic, embossed and branded vessels abounded.  Various tops were used - card, foil, screw, clip-on, swing lids. Bottles had wide mouths, narrow mouths, pouring mouths, and heavily rimmed mouths.

This book also catalogues vats, cream cans, separators, measuring dippers, butter pats, churns, butter moulds, drinking straws, milk factory brands, cream pots, bottle tops, and milk powder product containers along with dozens of other curiosities.  Identification and classification charts as to rarity are comprehensive.

224pp, perfect bound, laminated limp cover, hundreds of B&W photos, several colour pages.
